Education
The Sulaco Group is dedicated to returning 10% of its profits to local initiatives in Libya that benefit youth education, female empowerment, public health, and job / technical skills training. The core of each of these channels is education, be it theoretical, emotional, habitual, or informational.
The Sulaco Group identifies and donates to local non-profit groups and charities that are directly involved in providing educational services and training to the local population. We are also working with international NGOs working to improve public health habits and combat human trafficking.
Public Health
Public Health is a major concern in Libya following a half-decade of intense conflict. The country's once admirable public health architecture and public insurance sector are no longer able to provide adequate, comprehensive services. This has lead to a decline in public health outcomes as habits erode and healthcare is not available to combat disease and injury.
The Sulaco Group is working to directly combat both the habit and education sides of the issue, focusing on prevention, and the standard provision of care, or treatment, issues in Libya. Our work in giving back to the local communities has also allowed us to recommend positive local organizations to multinationals looking to operate and improve outcomes in the region.
Sustainable Growth
The Sulaco Group is committed to a best practices approach to business. Our group has worked directly with the Libyan government in setting down concrete imperatives and guidelines for foreign companies working in the region.
These imperatives include eliminating corruption, restoring utility to the Libyan Dinar, improving ICT networks, improving fishing and agricultural output from local cooperatives, and facilitating trade relationships with European companies.
